After the resounding success of their line up of flagship mobile phones – the Ultra Edition, Samsung have followed it up with its next generation of Ultra Edition mobile phones – the Ultra Edition II. The Samsung U600 is an intermediate model of this line up with great many modern day features and a top drawer camera module. Local connectivity tools includes Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP profile and USB 2.0.
Integrated camera module of the Samsung U600 is 3.2 megapixel. This makes the handset a member of elite camera phones boasting of built in camera with more than 3 megapixel. High resolution camera is well complimented by all premium tools and aids like auto focus, digital zoom, built in flash, special effects and many more. Shoot stills with resolution as high as 2048 x 1536 pixels or VGA resolution videos at 15 frames per seconds. Another major multimedia tool of the Samsung U600 is its media player which is compatible with MP3, AAC, eACC and WMA formats. Expandable memory card slot, together with built in memory pool of about 60 Mb makes it possible to carry quite a few of your favourite songs and videos with you.
