Silver Edition Nokia 5800 is Third Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Colour Variant

Nokia have released a third colour version of their first ever touch screen mobile phone, the Nokia 5800 is the first of many in the manufacturers line-up of touchscreen phones with the next being the Nokia N97.

The Silver Nokia 5800 changes the colour of the exterior colour band around the circumference of the casing from the red and blue of the previous models to a new silver finish, the overall casing colour stays as black which offsets the new silver banding perfectly.

Aside from this colour change the bones of the Nokia 5800 stay exactly the same offering all of the same great features and technology as the original red and more recent blue editions.

Nokia has undoubtedly made an important place in the mobile market. It has introduced latest models with innovative technology and features from time to time. This time it has brought an addition to its existing touch screen range with introduction of its Nokia 5800 model. It has excellent features and functions along with the superb quality of music.

Design and Display

The Nokia 5800 has impressive look with physical dimension of  111 X 51.7 X 15.5 mm. the weight of the phone is 109gram which  makes it easy to carry it anywhere. It has a good display with 3.2inches touch screen. The pixel resolution of the screen stands at 640 X 360. More than 16 million colors of the screen make it even more vibrant and bright. The accelerometer in the phone acts as automatic orientation sensor which is there for the display rotation. The 5800 is available in attractive colors of red, black, blue and others to suit your style statement.

Multiple Input Options

The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is a phone with Symbian S60 operating system. There is wide variety of input options available in the phone. For controlling the user interface there is stylus, finger touch and the plectrum support. For the comfort of the users there is mini QWERTY keyboard and alphanumeric keypad available in the phone. The option of handwriting recognition and full screen handwriting makes work even easier. For enjoying the music there is dedicated touch key for the Media bar which gives access to the gallery, music and other features. The phone also takes inputs in the form of the voice commands.

The Nokia 5800 has 3.2MP of camera with resolution of 2048 X 1536 pixels. It has Carl Zeiss optics with 3x of digital zoom that gives superb picture quality. Other camera features include Dual LED Flash, Auto focus, settings for white balance and flash modes, photo editor and many others. You can also print your images directly with the help of compatible printer.

A Phone for Music Lovers

The main attraction of the Nokia 5800 Xpress Music is its superb quality of music with enhanced features. The phone has NSeries digital music player with options of play list, equalizer, graphic display and others. The player supports multiple audio formats that include AAC, MP3, WMA and others. The media bar option in the phone facilitates the access of the music immediately. You can also enjoy your favorite radio channel as the phone has Stereo FM Radio. Your music experience will enhance with the stereo speakers that are integrated and has the surround sound system in it.

Memory and Battery

You will never fall short of storage in the phone with its 8GB of memory, which can store around 6000 favorite tracks of your choice. So now you can keep all your favorite pieces of images, videos and music stored in the phone, and still if you want more memory you can do so by using the option of MicroSD card. The battery life of the phone last for about 48 hours which is far better than any other phone.

The Nokia 5800 is now available on O2, Orange, T-Mobie, Virgin Mobile and Vodafone pay monthly deals as well as on Pay As You Go with no contract ties plus as a SIM Free handset with no network ties.
