The Sony Ericsson W890i Walkman phone is like the improved design of Sony Ericsson W880i. It is really quite similar but the W890i has some newly built nasty features that are very useful.
The W890i Walkman phone retains the gossamer frame of its predecessor but with addition of some cool multimedia tools. It uses the HSDPA technology which brings a download speed of about 3.6 Mbps. It also has a 3.2 megapixel camera. However, the W890i is widely known for being a Walkman player.
The W890i mobile phone has also undergone a subtle makeover. It now has softened angled corners. The most noticeable improvement is the keypad and control keys. Although the design looks a little bit cramped, the new keypad layout is much more traditional now which enables easier control for the thumb.
The third generation of Sony Ericsson’s Walkman music player is also imbedded into the W890i phone model. It has a dynamic audio performance which is coupled with the Mega Bass sound feature. A Media Manager is also packaged in the W890i which handles all the multimedia clobber and CD ripping.

W890i Walkman phone model includes tools such as SenseMe playlist creator, TrackID software for music recognition, built in FM receiver and Stereo Bluetooth which supports wireless headsets. Besides the 26MB internal memory, the W890i is also equipped with a 2GB Memory Stick Micro which accommodates about 500 mp3 tracks.
In terms of camera, the W890i mobile phone model is equipped with two cameras that are located both in the front and the rear. The back camera is good for photos which has a 3.2 megapixel resolution while the front is a 30fps VGA camera which is use for video calls.
