The most impressive features of the LG KU990 Viewty are its touchscreen and its 5-megapixel camera. The camera features autofocus and xenon flash. It has the ability to upload videos directly to YouTube and to shoot video at 120 frames per second; perfect for fast-moving sports footage. If you’re looking to dump your digital camera and rely on your mobile phone then the LG KU990 Viewty is certainly one to consider.
If the camera isn’t enough, the large touchscreen should win you over. The software interface features large, finger-friendly icons and the overall look is very appealing. What’s more, the proprietary Web browser is one of the best around. Similar to the iPhone, you can view full webpages at a reduced size and then zoom in. Other features of the phone include HSDPA (3.5G), DivX playback support and two days battery life.
The LG KU990 Viewty is a very good looking phone. Its classic, understated design perfectly complements the host of excellent features lurking beneath the exterior. Be careful, the touchscreen and matte black exterior are prone to scratches and fingerprints.
In conclusion, if you’re looking for a stylish phone with a very good camera, you can’t go wrong with the LG KU990 Viewty. It’s one of the best phones LG have ever made. If the limitations of the phone bother you (for example, it doesn’t support WiFi) then the Nokia N95 or Samsung G600 could be right up your street. Of course, they don’t look quite as pretty though!
