The Samsung G600 is a quad-band GSM camera phone with a very sleek design. The device is equipped with a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus feature. It has a 2.2 inch, 16 million colours TFT display that has a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The handset comes in dark grey colour and sports 3 silver coloured buttons on its front fascia.
The device weighs 104 gm and measures 101 x 47.8 x 14.9 mm. It has 55 MB of embedded memory which can be expanded further using a microSD memory card. Its camera has a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels. Its Document Viewer allows the user to download Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF file formats. The device utilizes a standard Li-Ion 880 mAh battery that has a talktime of upto 3.5 hours and standby time of upto 300 hours.
The handset's music player supports MP3, AAC, eAAC+ and WMA music file formats. Its built-in WAP 2.0 browser shows web pages in their true form. It provides worldwide roaming to the user and automatically switches to the available GSM network. Its video camera allows the user to record and play video footages in MPEG4 video format. The Samsung G600 supports Bluetooth A2DP wireless connectivity which allows the user to transfer files between two compatible devices without getting tangled into wires and cables. This GSM phone's EDGE support provides the user approximately three times faster data transfer rate than GPRS.
