The never ending catalogue of slim sliders by Samsung only gets more interesting with each passing day. The latest to be added in the gamut is the Samsung U600 Pink.
The handset is a smart looking compact mobile phone, that measures just about 11mm thick. But the small size does not make the phone less competent in terms of feature. On the contrary, what makes the Samsung U600 Pink a talked about phone, is its ability to offer good ergonomics in an amazingly slim package. For such a compact phone, the Samsung U600 Pink is occupied with surprisingly a large screen. The screen is an eye pleasing 34mm wide by 45mm tall, and poses no threat to readability, even under direct sunlight.
The screen also become a treat for viewing pictures and videos. Samsung U600 Pink wisely hides its 3.2 MP camera at the rear – not only to give protection, but also to make the front look more neat. The Samsung U600 Pink's camera comes with auto focus and LED photo light, though the exclusion of xenon flash is a disappointment. One admirable feature of Samsung U600 Pink's camera is its ability to to take photos of business cards using the namecard recognition service. This specially appeases the social buffs and professionals with widespread social network.
In terms of music, Samsung U600 Pink plays it good. The music player is of good strength and can play tracks including MP3, AAC files and protected Windows Media files. One can also set music to shuffle or repeat, rate individual tracks, create playlists and adjust the equaliser.
Samsung U600 Pink comes with a nice designing sense too, and as expected, the device scores the most for its slider mechanism. The U600 Pink's spring-loaded slide mechanism is smooth and pops open with a small push.Other features that makes the O2 Samsung U600 Pink a super star, is its MP3 player, an FM radio, stereo Bluetooth (A2DP) and a Web browser, among other standard features.
