Encased within an extremely stylish handset, a long list of impressive features and specifications are weight users are of the Samsung S8500 wave.

The Samsung Wave boasts an impressive 3.3 inch super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen.  This ensures users can enjoy photos and video to their full potential, and can even be viewed in full screen thanks to an accelerometer sensor which rotates the user interface based on the orientation of the phone.  The screen itself operates at a pixel resolution of 480x 800 with the ability to display up to 16M colours.

In order to alert users to incoming text messages and phone calls, vibration works in conjunction with ringing and users have the option to assign MP3 music files as ringtones allowing them to customise the sound of the handset.  In order to carry out a handsfree communication, and easy to use speakerphone system is built into the handset as he as a 3.5 mm audio Jack.  The latter can accommodate not only handsfree headsets but also earphones for listening to music via the internal media player, which supports a whole host of different music and video file formats.  The entertainment features don't end there, with a number of pre-installed games along with access to a number of downloadable games and a stereo FM radio player with RDS.  For storage of data such as music tracks and video files, 1.5 GB internal storage is offered as standard however expandable microSD memory allows users to install a memory card of up to 32 GB.

Users can enjoy a super fast Internet access thanks to HSDPA and Wi-Fi connections, whilst GPRS and EDGE allow access to cellular networks.  A 5 mega pixel camera is also included on the phone, and gives users access so powerful photography tools at their fingertips.  Doubling up as a video camera, it also has the ability to shoot HD (72p quality) video footage.

The Samsung S8500 Wave is a Smartphone which ticks all the boxes in terms of functionality and entertainment, whilst remaining compact and aesthetically pleasing.
