Modern phones are replacing personal computers as these phones have all the capabilities, which a personal computer has. Many modern mobile phones are capable of capturing a smart photo, sending e-mail and perform various other functions. What phone to choose can be a difficult decision.

Modern phones can perform many functions like personal organizer, helping the consumer, preparing data of a shop. Though all phones do not have these capabilities, and some features are available in smart phone only.
An important point to remember before going to choose a new phone is that what are the important features one is going to look. It depends on where and how one is going to use the phone whether it is required in specific domain of Internet access or video purposes. There are various models with different latest facilities like touch screen, modem capabilities, built in smart operating software, are available in the market, all kind of e-mail connectivity with computer, scheduling and reminder software, high quality camera, Internet connectivity, accelerometers, software for contact and navigation management.

Many mobile phones in the market have the capability of changing text format and reading a document in required format like Microsoft or PDF format. Smart phone should be capable in replacing old phone to achieve desired facility. If there is a need to go for a stylish phone that physical look of the phone is just sufficient to get zero down to buy it. Or if a mobile phone is put in use in scientific or engineering field than it should have a smart keypad, touch screen, security features, formula conversion software same time an instant and easy access with Internet. There are also provisions of installing new software in mobile phones, which suit individual requirement. Before adding new software to upgrade a mobile phone a thought on various issue like compatibility of phone with computer and Internet should be given.

Therefore it is advisable to list features before deciding what phone to go with. Preparation of list will narrow down the choice of individual and will conclude for better option. Consulting the friends and seniors will also provide a support in selecting a phone. Few features like size, weight, colour is also important to be considered. A bulky or cumbersome mobile phone will always be a hurdle in transporting it. Mobile phone should be comfortable in holding and gripping. Many people choose a particular color due to various reasons like seasonal choice or favoring colour. A balance is to be maintained between technical and physical features of a selected phone.

I have an LG KF750 Secret. A mini disc is supplied with software to allow me to back up my phone, xfer pictures music ect through the USB cable. However every time I run the software I am advised that it is not compatable with XP and the PC freezes. Have any other people had a problem with this, and if so how did you solve this? Thanks

Home Phone/ Caller ID problem

I have Verizon phone service in my house (using Panasonic phones) and I am having a problem. Whenever a friend would call my house from his home it would come up on the caller id as Out of Area and he tells me that he did press *82 (I have a private #). When he would call from his cell phone (Verizon) the same thing happens out of area. Is there something wrong with the service or the phone?
