Charity---the Need of the Hour

If we look globally then one can find the near destitute condition in which the children in the third world countries are living in. Usually poor children can be seen working, cleaning utensils, peddling small goodies or simply begging to make a living. Sometimes they also take some other anti-social steps like stealing which can later on become later on become big crimes.

Witnessing such situation makes us question: after all we have been reading in the papers where it’s reported that we are making fast progress, human race is progressing in such a way that has never been imagined. If such is the case, then why its future (children are the future of our race) have to live a life of slave without proper food, proper education or any basic facility. Are all those reports about development of our nation is false then? It seems that the development that is happening is not all-round. The entire social structure is not benefiting from it. The profits of the development remains confined to specific social pockets. The poor remains poor and his condition is getting worse, whereas the rich is getting richer. That seems to be the case.

One way to see that the problem of the poor is alleviated is through charity. Protect them for sometime and enable them to take care of their problems in the future. This can be done through the charity that is made by those who have got everything with the grace of God.

If one has to think about the future, the children coming from poor families who cannot afford to go to school and instead are working or loitering around, needs to be placed back in school. This can be done through establishing schools built from the donations made by people who do have a decent living. These schools must provide free education and all the facilities to support their education. Education would empower them to take decisions for themselves and have control over their own life.

Charity is the need of the hour, if one wants to help the poor. Help charitable organizations like Guru Nanak Garib Niwaz Education Society which is working toward providing free education to poor children with the charitable contribution people make. Do make your contribution to make this world a better place.
