Sponsoring a Child: a Noble Idea Indeed

One of the noblest ideas that can come in any one’s mind is to sponsor a child, who cannot afford schooling or the time to enjoy his or her childhood. This is what one can at least do if God has given you that much that you can support someone else. This small contribution of yours would bring in joy in someone else’s life. If you are not running for the prime ministerial post or presidential post, then doing social service would be the best way to help in building your nation.

A developing nation like India with over a billion populations needs for the people who have got enough with the grace of God to come forward and do charities to help the poor and the needy. The state adventures to alleviate the problems of the poor are falling short of the target because the numbers, who will benefit from the projects, far exceed the number of those who are in need of these.

In India you can see number of poor children who are waiting to be sponsored for their schooling. The children of the poor people don’t even get the chance to go to school and some of them who get the chance to go to school; don’t get the opportunity to complete it as at time of financial trouble they have to start working to add to the family’s earnings. Won’t you like to help such children?

Education of such poor children would be complete only when they are supported through every level of it, which includes food, cloth, medical facility and books. Because until and unless all these facilities are not made available to them the poor parents of poor these children will not allow them to come to school as they won’t be able to afford it. In such a scenario it would be most beneficial that their kids are sponsored in their education.

You may be living in any part of the world but the joy that you would bring in the life of some poor child living in India working or simply begging for sustenance, if you choose to sponsor his or her education. If you want to contribute in this noble gesture of sponsoring a child, then you must contact Guru Nanak Garib Niwaj Education Society, which has been working for free education of poor children and developing various child development programs for the deprived children in India.
