THE GOSPEL TODAY

DEATH – IT happens every time.

WHAT IF YOU DIED TODAY!

Before talking about this subject, we should have talked about sin instead because sin leads to death. But when we consider the alarming rate which people are dying these days, we have no option but to talk about DEATH.

Even while reading this article, you could be having a slight pain in your chest or head, but within a few hours YOU COULD BE DEAD of a heart attack or brain hemorrhage. But you’re thinking “That’ll never happen to me.”

James 4:14

That’s what everyone says “I’ll not die now” It seems a nice comment doesn’t it?Who ever thought the “King of Pop” Michael Jackson will die just few weeks to the time that he would appear back on stage. That is how death is. It comes when no one expects it.Because of this reason you must be ready for death whenever it strikes. This raises the next question:

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR DEATH?

You should prepare for death. You can prepare for death when you decide to accept Jesus Christ as your personal saviour. That is all what is required from you! Now you can be sure of a peaceful place to rest when you die. A place that is very pleasant and joyful to stay. And that place is HEAVEN!

WHY SHOULD I PREPARE FOR DEATH?

Because death is not the end. After death one will have to face judgment for the deeds committed whilst alive. God has appointed his son Jesus Christ to judge mankind for the deeds committed whilst on earth. Your decision whether or not to receive Christ as your saviour will tell whether you will spend eternity in heaven or hell. One is a peaceful, nice, serene place whilst one is also a place of terror, suffering and pain. But it is never too late. Receive Christ now and your life will never be the same again.

PRAY:

Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I ask you this day to come into my heart and change me. Make me yours forever and ever amen.

Watch out for part 2 of this article.
