God In Our Lives

He is the maker of heaven and earth and everything in it, including you and me. Man is the greatest, most valuable of God's creation. He wanted us to share eternity with him and enjoy whatever we desired in his world. He created us for dominion but that was never to be fully realized for in came Satan and out went the plan He had for us. He never gave up on us though he was very disappointed in the way we choose to ignore him in our lives.

Since his greatest fulfillment was to see us living in total union with him, God sent his only begotten son that whosoever believed on him will never perish but will have everlasting life. This was a very painful thing for God to do. Sacrificing his only Son so as you and I can enjoy eternity was more than we could ask for. We do not even deserve this from God. All he ever wanted is to love and be a father to us but we rejected him. We still reject him today but he never gives up on us. He is standing at the door to your heart waiting to be let in. He will until you choose to let him in or you die first.

He wants to be God in our lives. This means that taking care of us to the tiniest detail. He does not want you to struggle from day to day but to enjoy his favor, grace and mercy at work for you. Invite him into your heart today and watch as he sweeps away your messed life and give you a totally new and fulfilling life. Choose him today and he will not disappoint you. Not now, not ever.

WE ARE CHRISTMAS!

By: Linda Mose Meadows | 20/12/2009
It's time to celebrate the Christ child's birth, and it's also a season for reflection and joy. In my estimation, it's really a time to give spiritual birth to new possibilities, new endeavors and new insights. It's time to unearth dreams and embrace realities yet to be seen. I believe we endeavor to capture the essence of the Christmas Spirit, Christ in our decorations, traditions, celebrations and rituals.

By: Oli Osorhan | 19/12/2009
It could be said that since it was the birth of a baby as a gift to mankind that gave rise to Christmas, then children should also and always be the primary focus of the season.

Caring For People

By: angelamwema | 11/09/2009 | Christianity
It is not easy to have a burden for people who are not related to you. It takes God for someone to be compassionate and do something for people who are in need. We as men are selfish and self-centered. Thinking and being there for others is a gift from God. At times, it requires a lot of self sacrifice. All this can be achieved if we crucify ourselves and ask Christ to be our Lord and savior.

What Matters To God

By: angelamwema | 11/09/2009 | Christianity
What Matters To God When we get born again, we are so careful to do everything perfectly and please God in all that we do. We think before we talk and treat people better. Our love for God is very intense. We want to tell everyone about this wonderful thing we feel and preach to everyone though most of the time we are not even sure of what we are saying. We spend a lot of time with God in prayer and reading his word.

The Workers Are Few

Mathew 9:35-37. When Jesus was preaching the word to the people, many came from all parts of the world to see him and hear from him. Most expected for God to move in there lives and break them free from the bondage that suppressed them. At one time, he looked at them and saw what they had to go through to just come and be ministered to by him. Some even fainted from hunger.

The Parable of the Good Samaritan

By: angelamwema | 11/09/2009 | Christianity
Jesus told a story of how a certain man was attacked by robbers who beat him up and left him for dead. As he lay on the road unconscious, a priest passed by and had one look at him then went his way, passing on the other side of the road. A few minutes later, a Levi passed by and did exactly what the priest did and went his way too.

God Blessing You Financially

By: angelamwema | 11/09/2009 | Christianity
Many people miss the formula of how to get their financial breakthrough. It’s all very simple; you have to understand why God does things. He will not bless you so as you have a fat bank account. He wants you to have money so as you can feed, educate and shelter the needy. He wants you to be able to make a lasting change in someone else life. That’s the only time he will give you more than you need. The day you will truly understand this principle, you will be on your way to financial overflow

Where Does God Want You to Spend Most of Your Time

By: angelamwema | 11/09/2009 | Christianity
Some people would say the church. If this was true, God would have made everyday a Sabbath. Jesus too would have spent all his time in the temple of God. God wants you to spend most of your time where you are of real use and are impacting on people's lives. If every one of us was truly being a good steward of what God has given us, most of the problems we see today would be a thing of the past.

Asking For God's Help

By: angelamwema | 11/09/2009 | Christianity
When challenges encompass us, as they will sometimes, what is your reaction? Do you run to God for help or do you just opt to do it on your own? What happens when we get a challenge is rush and get a quick solution for it. We most often than not do not remember that God wants to be there for us and take us through all that we face in this life. When all does not work, we remember him and ask if he can intervene.

Living for God

By: angelamwema | 11/09/2009 | Christianity
When we give our lives to God, we ask him to come and be our Lord and Savior. What this means is that we are not the drivers of our lives and destinies anymore but Jesus Christ is. We stop living for ourselves but for God. We ask that his will may be done in our lives. Whatever he wants to do in us, he may do to the glory and honor of his Holy name.
