The Bible is the greatest book I have ever come across. It is not just a collection of stories to pass on to the future generations but it is alive. It is one major way God communicates to us. Through out the Bible, we get to know the nature of God. One things that stands out clearly is the love God has for humanity. He can do anything to save a man. Do you know that if there was only one sinner in the world, God would still have sent his Son to die for his sins. Thats how important you are to God. When we sin, we usually think that God hates us and there is nothing we can do to ammend the situation. Some of us have done serious things that we do not think God can ever forgive us. This is a lie from the devil as he wants you to carry the guilt of what you did all the days of your life. God loves you unconditionally. His love for you never changes. Right now he wants you to acknowledge his love for you. It does not matter where you are or what you have done. It does not matter how bad your life is. He is the one who created you. How do you, mend the relationship with your Creator. You simply go before him in prayer and ask for forgiveness of sins. Ask him into your heart and for him to be your Lord and Savior. We all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Therefore, dont feel like you are the worst sinner on this earth. Another thing you should know is that God does not categorize sin. Whether you lie, or murder, you will face the same judgement bofore God. This is everlasting fire. Save your life today from the bondage of sin and enjoy peace that surpasses all human understanding.

Presbyterian Church Government
By: Ralph E. Bass, Jr. | 07/01/2010When denominations were forming in the 16th century, denominations often took their names from the type of church government they adopted. The names Presbyterian, Episcopal and Congregational reflect this. The reason this was done was simply because in general all denominations subscribed to the same theology, Reformed, their differences were found only in their church government.

In Bible versus Quran: Rahab the prostitute in the Genealogy of the Lord Jesus?
By: Prof.dr. Ibrahim Khalil | 06/01/2010In the Bible, the genealogy of the Lord Jesus from Abraham to Joseph who married Saint Mary is composed of 42 (or 55) generations. In such family tree, you find Rahab the prostitute. On the other hand, the genealogy of the Lord Jesus in the Quran is only three words: "Jesus the Son of Mary".
Presbyterian History
By: Ralph E. Bass, Jr. | 06/01/2010The greatest early intellect and champion of Biblical theology was Aurelius Augustine (354-430) bishop of Hippo in North Africa. Augustine battled and bested the heretic Pelagius – a British monk who denied the depravity of man and the great doctrines of grace. Pelagius taught that the human will is free to do good or evil, and that divine grace only facilitates what the will can do of itself.
Hold On Just A Little While Longer
By: Joshua J Reed | 06/01/2010The Bible says that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Many of you are running on empty when it comes to faith. You are almost at the point where you have given up hope for what is to come and have very little to hope for. The reason for this is because life has let you down. You feel as though troubles have surrounded you and set up camp. In fact, you can not even see past the problems you are facing.
Passion for Jesus and a Passion for Fashion?
By: Shaila D Touchton | 06/01/2010You are a child of God if you live godly and you resemble God and You are a child of the devil if you do not live for God and your lifestyle is ungodly and if you resemble the devil which rebels against God for sinfulness, and living in evil pleasures and lusts.

Caring For People
By: angelamwema | 11/09/2009 | ChristianityIt is not easy to have a burden for people who are not related to you. It takes God for someone to be compassionate and do something for people who are in need. We as men are selfish and self-centered. Thinking and being there for others is a gift from God. At times, it requires a lot of self sacrifice. All this can be achieved if we crucify ourselves and ask Christ to be our Lord and savior.
What Matters To God
By: angelamwema | 11/09/2009 | ChristianityWhat Matters To God When we get born again, we are so careful to do everything perfectly and please God in all that we do. We think before we talk and treat people better. Our love for God is very intense. We want to tell everyone about this wonderful thing we feel and preach to everyone though most of the time we are not even sure of what we are saying. We spend a lot of time with God in prayer and reading his word.
The Workers Are Few
By: angelamwema | 11/09/2009 | ChristianityMathew 9:35-37. When Jesus was preaching the word to the people, many came from all parts of the world to see him and hear from him. Most expected for God to move in there lives and break them free from the bondage that suppressed them. At one time, he looked at them and saw what they had to go through to just come and be ministered to by him. Some even fainted from hunger.
The Parable of the Good Samaritan
By: angelamwema | 11/09/2009 | ChristianityJesus told a story of how a certain man was attacked by robbers who beat him up and left him for dead. As he lay on the road unconscious, a priest passed by and had one look at him then went his way, passing on the other side of the road. A few minutes later, a Levi passed by and did exactly what the priest did and went his way too.
God Blessing You Financially
By: angelamwema | 11/09/2009 | ChristianityMany people miss the formula of how to get their financial breakthrough. It’s all very simple; you have to understand why God does things. He will not bless you so as you have a fat bank account. He wants you to have money so as you can feed, educate and shelter the needy. He wants you to be able to make a lasting change in someone else life. That’s the only time he will give you more than you need. The day you will truly understand this principle, you will be on your way to financial overflow
Where Does God Want You to Spend Most of Your Time
By: angelamwema | 11/09/2009 | ChristianitySome people would say the church. If this was true, God would have made everyday a Sabbath. Jesus too would have spent all his time in the temple of God. God wants you to spend most of your time where you are of real use and are impacting on people's lives. If every one of us was truly being a good steward of what God has given us, most of the problems we see today would be a thing of the past.
Asking For God's Help
By: angelamwema | 11/09/2009 | ChristianityWhen challenges encompass us, as they will sometimes, what is your reaction? Do you run to God for help or do you just opt to do it on your own? What happens when we get a challenge is rush and get a quick solution for it. We most often than not do not remember that God wants to be there for us and take us through all that we face in this life. When all does not work, we remember him and ask if he can intervene.
Living for God
By: angelamwema | 11/09/2009 | ChristianityWhen we give our lives to God, we ask him to come and be our Lord and Savior. What this means is that we are not the drivers of our lives and destinies anymore but Jesus Christ is. We stop living for ourselves but for God. We ask that his will may be done in our lives. Whatever he wants to do in us, he may do to the glory and honor of his Holy name.
