Jesus - Better Known as 24 / 7

For me Jesus is better known as 24/7.  I need Him all the time, continuously, non-stop to be available when ever I may need to call on Him.  It is so good to know Jesus is available before and after the hours of 9AM - 5PM.  I might need to call on Him for a very urgent matter at 5:15, I need to know Jesus will be ready to hear and give me consolation.

Jesus is never temporally closed for construction, or out to lunch and I should try back in about an hour.  Jesus is available on the weekends and never known to take vacation days.

I need Jesus to be with family and friends and still be with those that are in the hospitals, nursing homes, and those that are in prison.  As Jesus is with me I too need him to be with the homeless sleeping under bridges and in shelters.  I need Jesus to be with that individual on the verge of taking their own life. I need Jesus to be with the one that has given up, lost all hope and restore them completely.  I need Jesus 24/7 to hear when I tell Him thank you.

Scripture -

Isaiah 58:11 (New International Version)

The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land
and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden,
like a spring whose waters never fail.

Prayer -

Heavenly Father, I thank you for being available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.I thank you because you are able to be with me and others all at the same time.I thank you for satisfying us in a sun-scorched land, and bringing strength to our frame.Thank you for being that spring for us whose waters never fail.

In Jesus Name.  Amen.

For centuries the Jewish people had heard from the scriptures, prophets, priests and rabbis that God would fulfill His promise and establish a New Covenant with His people through the Messiah. On this day in Acts 2 God fulfilled His promise and poured out His Spirit on His people.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever will believe will have everlasting life and not perish. God is there for nonbelievers also. He wants all of His children back. Seek and you shall find, ask and you shall receive, knock and the door will be opened

Historic Black College choirs across the country traditionally visit local community churches. For many churches it's reminiscent of a homecoming. Alum, prospective students and the community at large celebrate the choir, enjoy and appreciate the sacred music, pay tribute to loved ones that have helped financially support and embraced the school's mission which instills pride in the hope and dream of surviving and making it in a harsh world. Their presence is a testament of God's goodness.

One car on the shoulder of the road makes a big difference. One car can affect and alter the lives of so many. So many people are counting on and depending on that one car for transportation to and from work. They depend on that car to take them to marketing places to obtain food and various other services. All the places they once had easy access to through transportation from this one car has become hampered.

Yes, you look great from the front. Onlookers salute you and give you your due respect, but what about the rear lights. I need a sure guide, someone who will stay on the road. I need a strong guide who has both rear lights working. There is nothing more frustrating then to follow one who has a rear light out. It causes me some confusion and makes me unsure of my path.

It is good for me to know where I have traveled to come to arrive at this point. I always take a moment to check the rear view mirror to continue to move forward successfully.
