Praying For Money: Should You Pray For Money?

Posted: Aug 08, 2009 |Comments: 0 | Views: 716 |

"Money is the root of all evil!" Is it really?

This quote was originated in the new testament.
"For the love of money is the root of all evil" [Timothy 6:10]

Is it really fair to blame every evil or some evil on money?
Yes, money is the root of some evil and is found in some places;
Status, greed, ego, lust, and jealousy.
Many people trying to pursue wealth will lose their faith.
But there are so many examples of money being used for good or God's will.
For example, World Vision, Unicef, Church Missions, and various charities.

Are you using money for good to do God's will?
Do not just ask God for money.
Ask God to make you a channel for His unlimited abundance.

God does not mind you making money;
However, He does mind you serving it!
You are in trouble when you get so busy earning money
that you have no time to worship Him.
God must always be the number one priority in your life!
Once that is established, He promised you that,
"You will abound in every good work"[2 Corinthians 8:7].
To abound means to have what you need and more left over
to share with others, otherwise it is only selfishness.

In today's world several individuals are making enormous
amounts of money on the internet in less time than a regular full time J.O.B.

So there is absolutely no excuse not to worship God since
today you can work less hours and make much more money.

It is how much VALUE you create with your time that
makes ALL the difference.

Based on the 80/20 rule, it is highly probable that 80 percent
of your results are derived from 20 percent of your efforts.

Think about it. What things are you doing that are
making you the most progress?

Yes, go ahead and pray for money for the right reasons

    "We have to put down the burden periodically, so that we can refresh and are able to carry on. So before you return home from work tonight, put the burden of work down. Don't carry it back home- You can pick it up tomorrow. Whatever burden you are having now on your shoulders, let it down for a moment if you can. Pick it up again later when you have rested--"

    The world has never seen such great commercial profiteering in the body of Christ until the turn of this century. What is going on? Jesus has already said a long time ago that his Father’s house shall be a house of prayer, in the book of Matthew, Matthew 21:13, “ And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.”
