Research the Bible with Glo

Posted: Nov 09, 2009 |Comments: 0 | Views: 123 |

Say you’re wanting to look up a specific passage in the Bible, but you have no idea where to start. For example, maybe you’re looking for the words Jesus spoke in the city of Jerusalem during Passion Week. Or maybe it’s something more specific. Take it a step further: the words that were spoken by Jesus, in the book of John, during the Passion Week, in the city of Jerusalem. It’s very hard to think about how you would do that in a normal Bible, let alone an electronic Bible.

With Glo, it’s easy. Glo’s unique lenses allow you to browse content through “lenses” five different ways: Bible (canonical order); Atlas (major stories and locations mapped); Timeline (events linked chronologically); Topical (search by subject); and Media (HD video, photos, and much more). And once you start, you can stack the lenses to simplify complicated searches. Create a selection and filter it over another lens for more specific results. As you continue to select lenses, you continue to add filters.

Not only will your search take you to the specific passages you’re looking for, but the results will include tons of extra material that bring your passages to life, with thousands of high-resolution images and articles, plus HD video, maps, virtual reality tours, and more. Researching the Bible with Glo is like a search engine on steroids.

Glo's first release is for use on Windows PC, which includes laptops and slate PCs. In the coming months, Glo will be available on Windows Mobile, Mac, iPhone and popular Internet browsers.??For more information and press materials about Glo, please visit: http://www.pressvillage.com/glo or http://www.globible.com

Alum, prospective students and the community at large celebrate the choir, enjoy and appreciate the sacred music, pay tribute to loved ones that have helped financially support and embraced the school's mission which instills pride in the hope and dream of surviving and making it in a harsh world. Their presence is a testament of God's goodness.
