The Miracles Of Jesus And What The Scriptures Say About Them

Posted: Aug 11, 2011 |Comments: 0 |

The Savior did many miracles in the Holy Scriptures. He was aware that he was on a mission to redeem mankind from its sins, and to this effect he conducted miracles to renew faith in the Creator, to heal the sick, or simply to do something positive in the good name of the Creator. And to be able to read the many miracles of the Savior is one of the many wonders of the dance Bible verses.

"This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him." John 2:11

But not all who saw the Savior's miracles believed in him. It should be noted that, after his crucifixion, even one of his apostles wanted to see the holes on Christ's hands where the nails went through before he believed that the Savior had, indeed, resurrected.

Are there any other stories of the Savior's miracles in the dance Bible verses?

Here is an inspiring one. A soldier of Roman descent was traveling to find medicine for his sick daughter. This soldier met the Savior, and he told the Savior his concern. The Savior then held his burdened shoulder and told him to run home back to his daughter. The soldier, worried and tired, decided to put faith in the Savior's words and ran back home. He found his daughter was well again just as the Savior had said. And this is just one of the Savior's many miracles in the Holy Scriptures.

"But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me." John 5:36

Here is another story. Imagine how the blind man felt when the Savior healed his eyes which gave him vision for the first time in his life. Jesus spat on the dirt which he rubbed onto the blind man's eyes, and then told him to go to a lake and wash his eyes. Afterwards, the blind man opened his eyes, and he could finally see. The blind man praised the Creator for the miracle that the Savior brought unto him.

We have to remember that the Creator is the only reason why these miracles are possible. Without the Creator, there would be no miracles. Be thankful to the person who looked after you, but glorify only the Creator who is behind everything.

In 2 Samuel 6:16 and 20, the Bible declares that the ark of the LORD was entering the City of David; and Michal (King David's wife which was Saul's daughter was looking out a window; when she saw King David leaping and dancing before the LORD, she despised him in her heart. When David returned home, Michal said unto him, you were disrobing as any vulgar fellow would. This story is not present in the Noble Quran, the book which forbids saying anything that could dishonor any prophet.

The followers of Christ should be reading the Holy Scriptures. It is not a concrete rule, mind you, nor do you have to read the Holy Scriptures in its entirety. But it must go without saying that as a follower of Christ, as a believer of the Savior and his sacrifices for us, Christians should at the very least care enough to read from time to time the Bible verses especially on their free time.

The Holy Scriptures, which is the Bible, is in itself the word of the Creator. In the Christian world, the Holy Scriptures is perhaps looked at as the most important piece of literary work in the whole world, simply because it embodies and contains the wisdom and teachings of the Father, our Creator.

Learning the Scriptures by heart is very difficult especially for kids, but it can be equally difficult on adults too. The human brain is not used to remembering large quantities of text at once unless, which is rare, it is conditioned to do so, like the few successful followers of Christ out there.
