Hasps Secure Your Doors and Cabinets

Posted: Mar 02, 2011 |Comments: 0 |

Hasps, from the Middle English "haspe," have their origin in medieval Europe. They are a deceptively simple fastener commonly used in doors or lids consisting of a metal strap that fits over a staple and is secured by a pin or padlock. No doubt they were used to guard the king's larders or armory, and they were highly prized for their utility and effectiveness. Today, stainless steel hasps are still being used, but the design is a bit different.

At Sierra Pacific Engineering and Products, we base our contemporary hasps' designs on the classic way to build a hasp, but with a few tweaks and modifications. Although the core build is still relevant and useful, modern improvements based on new developments in the industry and stronger metals make modifying the original design a definite must. Luckily for us, our clients have responded well to our hasps' designs, so we'll continue to offer the same stainless steel hasps at competitive prices.

A nice addition to our hasps is our customer service. Fueled by SPEP's 100% employee owned status, we take great pride in the way we deal with customers. No one is a faceless entity, and no one deserves anything less than the best. Better still, everyone on our side has a personal stake in the company, so everyone will serve you well. Even though our stainless steel hasps are simple to install, sometimes clients have trouble. Our customer service workers are standing by to help anyone with any problem, especially the installation of stainless steel hasps.

Hasps can be used in a number of industries. Really, any client that needs a fastener for a door or a cabinet or a lid is a prime candidate to try out one of our stainless steel hasps. When you finally do take the plunge and give our hasps a shot, we'll be with you every step of the way, ensuring your experience with our stainless steel hasps will go smoothly.
