Caps come in different colors. They have to, for they give buyers options to choose from. But this connection between caps and colors is way beyond just merchandising and selling. It has a deeper, a more significant meaning to it. Otherwise how would you justify military forces of different countries wearing caps and hats of the same sizes and structures, but with different colors and insignia? There is a certain element of symbolism that ought to be identified here.
If looked into deeper, the various factions of the military forces within a country sport hats with different colors. The army wears green, the navy white and the air force blue. The insignia of course, has to be different for they symbolize the different arms of the military structure within a country.
You look at baseball, various franchises wear the same sized cap but with different colors to signify their respective states. The same goes for football, hockey and basketball.
Along the same lines the neon green cap, the orange cap and the pink cap be compared. If you look at all three, you see the same size. You see similar designs. You see a familiar finishing. The colors signify an occasion, a state of mind. They symbolize a particular event, a moment of celebration, a festive occasion of sorts. This is the reason why they are so clearly made in different colors so that calling the occasion becomes appropriate, and things evidently fall into place the way they should.
If one broadens one's spectrum, then one may observe that those who wear these caps are very fidgety about their choice of clothing. They simply cannot endure a mismatch, something that puts them off very badly and leaves them in a morose state. They realize the caps are colored that way for a purpose, and it is better if they are worn the way they should with the right combinations.
