The recent winter chill has taken its toll on Britain with temperatures dipping the mercury below freezing point. The country has seen record low temperatures in many areas, as some record lows include temperatures below -15®C which is enough to send a chill down the spine of any dog walker across the country.

With global warming seemingly having a sustained effect on winters, it seems heavy snow each winter is here to stay. This makes it much more difficult to get around with day to day activities taking much longer. With driving becoming virtually impossible in many areas most people have taken to walking to avoid potential damage to a car. This of course isn't an ideal situation for the regular driver as the cold is of course is uncomfortable to walk in.
