Choosing appropriate plus size clothing for our body is not too hard as we think if we take a little care about the size of our body. Tips of how to select plus size clothing are explained below.

 Cut, Fit and Pattern:

While going for plus size material shopping for women all these factors must be considered. Choose the materials with colors and prints that show our body elongated like selecting solid color vertical print material with low neck to show a little bit of skin.   

While we select a pair of jeans or pants we must look for a wide leg style or a boot cut which suits the dress material. To look slender in pair of work pants always select a pin strip along with it. Form fitting jeans will not require any other baggy items as we will get a good figure as the boot cut of the jeans flares out around the ankles. Baggy clothing can sometimes give a casual appearance and can add bulk to our dressing.

Bright colors when paired with dark will give a slimmer appearance. Vibrant colored tops paired with dark boot cut jeans will give a flattering look. Try choosing solid colors, large patterns and keep away from small patterns as it draws attention to troublesome parts. Check on the length of the material while purchasing as it may look odd if the length is too short if we have a sexy leg.  

Selecting the right fabric:

Choose the fabrics which flatter our body and not clingy, stiff or soft fabric which will fit snuggly showing the curves of our body. For plus size material choosing light weight cotton, silk and satin material will be a good choice. Cotton material gives a comfortable look while satin and silk materials give a flowing leaner look.
