Unique Christmas Gifts

Are you sick of generic Christmas gifts that you, your friends, and family give each other? Get creative and give each person on your list a unique Christmas present this holiday season. Think about each person?s personality and interests when choosing them.

1. Garden gloves and a plant. The avid gardener will appreciate this unique gift. Write a note regarding his/her garden and how you?ve realized the time and effort he/she must put into keeping it beautiful.

2. Locally made barbeque or steak sauce and basting brush. This is a unique gift for a man or woman who likes to cook out on the grill. Maybe he/she will invite you over for some good home cooking when the weather heats up.

7. Books on tape. If you have a child or grandchild that you want to give a special gift, then find some books that you used to love as a child. Tape record yourself reading the books and then give them the tape and books to read along. Your child or grandchild can enjoy your favorite books even when you?re not there or available to read to them.

8. Homemade CDs. Put together a list of your favorite songs and download them onto CDs for friends and family to enjoy. Make themed CDs such as Christmas music or jams for New Year?s Eve.

9. Shopping spree. Give your mother, sister, or significant other a gift card and the day together. Help your family member pick out things they love while chatting about the holidays and plans for New Year?s resolutions.
