Demand for market Other than retailers, suppliers such as manufacturers also benefit from wholesalers. One advantage is that manufacturers could easily distribute their stock on markets they are having difficulties in acquiring. Let's say that a manufacturer would want to sell their stocks of clothing to retailers outside of their market. The easiest way for manufacturers to distribute their stocks is with wholesale clothing businesses that deals with the larger market.
