Imagine that for a moment.
You've found a super business opportunity. And locked into that opportunity is a 100% iron-clad guarantee that you will not fail.
Now also imagine that, not only are you guaranteed to succeed in this new business, but that you also are guaranteed to accomplish your goal within six months.
I mean, you know beyond any shadow of doubt that you are going to succeed big time. What would your goal be?
Okay, say you're going to go for that elusive million. That is your chosen goal.
Now, what kind of commitment of your resources are you willing to make to reach that goal?
Are you going to devote 100% of your free time to this super biz opp? Or are you just going to play around at it, a little here, a little there? A conference call here, a couple of ads there?
Are you going to put out a few free classifieds online and maybe a couple of el-cheapos off line, here and there, and "see what happens"?
Are you going to use the shotgun approach, or are you going to invest in a high-powered rifle with a state-of-the-art sight?
Are you going to pull together all your monetary resources, beg, borrow, and do everything short of stealing to throw everything you have into one last-ditch, Herculean effort to go over the top?
"Are you a total fool?" you ask. Who wouldn't make such a commitment, unless afflicted with a perverse streak of downright laziness? And if you're still reading this, I'll warrant that you're not!
Still, at this point, without the iron-clad guarantee of success, what is stopping you from making this type of extraordinary commitment? At that proverbial rubber-meets-road point, isn't it just plain old fear that stops us?
Fear of what? The unknown.
For if we did have the title guarantee, all fear would be decimated, and nothing could stand in the way of our success, right?
What we're really talking about here, folks, at the nitty-gritty level, is having faith—faith in God, faith in yourself, faith in your capabilities, faith in the opportunity that has been sent your way.
And, of course, to the extent that you realize that faith is fear and doubt turned inside out, you will be enabled to focus on your goal with determination and conjure up the burning desire you need to persevere until you reach that heretofore elusive goal—iron-clad guarantee or not!
