It’s funny, because sometimes all it takes to succeed in life is a simple change of view. Now this could be
something as simple as a change of how you accomplish your daily routine or as drastic as a change in
perspective on your role in the world. Whatever this change involves, it is always very personal, as it’s
dealing with your outlook.*
For many people, improving their outlook involves many long years of soul searching and struggling.
However, this does not have to be the case. In fact, you could enjoy a change of perspective and an
improved outlook much more quickly should you employ the aid of an external source.
What sort of external source am I talking about? I’m referring to a life coach. Now, I know what you’re
thinking. Can’t you just talk to a trusted friend or loved one and get the same sort of experience? After all,
life coaches are just friends you pay to talk to, right?
Wrong! Your relationship with a life coach is greatly different from that you experience with a friend or loved
one. How so? Well take, for instance how you talk to friends and family. You may be able to divulge your
greatest fears, hopes and dreams to them for awhile, but since your relationship is two-sided, you will need
to reciprocate. Now, this is not a bad thing. It’s greatly cathartic and helps you bond with people. However,
when you really want to make a change in your life and make progress, a simple chat won’t likely cut it.
You’re going to need someone that is there for you and willing to listen no matter what. A life coach can be
that person. You will be paying them after all, and it is their job to listen to you, to provide feedback and to
keep you on track toward achieving your goals.
A life coach is one of the best ways around to get a changed perspective. Why is this the case? A life
coach isn’t afraid to tell you the truth. You are paying them to be honest and frank with you. If you are
making excuses, they aren’t going to pander you or enable you. Rather, a life coach will tell you to get up
and make your dreams happen. They can’t do the work for you, but it is surely helpful to have someone on
your side, encouraging you every step of the way.

Anythign wrong with thi picture?
By: Mik | 01-09-2008
okay, i've been feeling really weird, but i dont think i'm sick. and i've no idea what to do. i have this strange twitching thing where its like uncontrolable twitching only it is really beginning to bug me. it is happening a lot more since my wonderful girlfriend told me out of the blue she is bisexual. i wouldnt call myself homophobic or anyhting but its the last thing i expected and really blew me back. i've been feeling really crappy last few months but its suddenly intensified and i find myself completely unmotivated to do anything. more now than usual. i'm quite amazed that i bought myself to write this letter. i cant think of anything else to say but sometimes, when i am completely alone, not not alone, i infrequently hear someone call out my name really loudly. scares the hell out of me when i'm on my own and i know noones there. it might only happen once a month or so but its been happening for a few months now. i'm done. thanks.

The Goal of Coaching
By: Reza Hossein Borr | 08/10/2008
We do not think of alternatives because we are too attached to what we have, to what we say, to what we do, to what we think about and to what we feel about. That is why we need the help of a coach or a mentor. A great coach must facilitate change from the present attachments to future alternatives.
