Posted: Jul 29, 2010 |Comments: 0 | Views: 109 |

Do you want to raise your self-esteem? How can you be sure that you really want to? By asking yourself these questions you can start to understand your self-esteem better, raise your self-esteem and motivate yourself to keep working on your self-esteem. Many people believe that they want higher self-esteem but simply cannot seem to be able to push themselves towards taking action to get it. This is usually because of fear of the unknown – fear of whom you are going to be if you raise your self-esteem. By identifying your fears and exploring your desire for high self-esteem you will find it easier to go beyond that fear.

  • Do I want a higher self-esteem?
  • Why do I want higher self-esteem?
  • How will my life change when I have a higher self-esteem?
  • Who will I be when I have a higher self-esteem?
  • Would there be any negative consequences of raising my self-esteem?
  • What could prevent me from raising my self-esteem?
  • What do I need to do to raise my self-esteem?
  • What kind of help will I need to raise my self-esteem and where/from whom can I get it?

These questions are really important to ask yourself on your journey towards a higher self-esteem. They will help you through fear of change that prevent many people from raising their self-esteem. Ask yourself all the questions before you start your self-esteem journey and use the visualisation questions (number 2 and 3) again as you work on your self-esteem.
