Some People Never Needed a Life Coach - They Did Fine Better Than the Coaches Even

Posted: Mar 22, 2011 |Comments: 0 |

We sure have a lot of folks these days claiming to be self help coaches or life coachers these days, but have you considered that they themselves most likely never had such a coach of their own? Yet they supposedly turned out good enough to tell you what to do, how to do it and how to succeed to your full potential, and claim that's why you need them? Surely you see the irony in all this right?

Well then, this means that someone who does not have such a coach has reached a great enough height of enlightenment and wisdom to help you to the same? But if they did it without one, then why can't you? Perhaps you do not see the hypocrisy here, as I have. You see, to me it is obvious, and even more interesting that if these folks teaching you, then who taught them?

Why do I ask? Well, because if your coach did have their own could, why get the information second hand, shouldn't you contact the life coach that coached your coach? After all, we all know that a copy of a copy is never as good as the original. And if the coach that coached your coach had a life coach, then how many coaches can a life coach, coach? Do you see the problem here yet?

If you have someone coaching you then that is merely a copy of a copy of a copy, what good are they, surely someone can design a robot for that right, or an avatar, or even an Artificial Intelligence computer system? Okay so, if your coach never had a then how do you know that they know what on earth they are talking about? And if they did, how do you know their coach as any good, and if their coach was that good, you should hire their coach instead of your coach you see.

Now then, if you really think your coach is that great and they got there without a life coach, what makes you think you need one for yourself? Who says you need a personal coach? Ah, that's right your coach told you that you needed them – how convenient indeed.

Yesterday, I was reading through see the international news that I came across a very troubling article in the Washington Post, it was one about socialist Hugo Chavez who is currently the President of Venezuela, and probably will be for a long time since he has been able to close media outlets that report negative stories about him, and put his political opposition in jail. In any case, all this is well-kn

How would you describe our current president? I often like to say that he really isn't a president, or a leader with any real executive abilities, but rather a Teleprompter in Chief who is able to deliver a decent speech on queue. That is to say, his handlers, and those behind the scenes put him on the stage, and have him read speeches into the mass media. Does this now mean anyone can be president, as long as they are good at advance

Perhaps by now, we've all heard the criticism from the Republicans and conservatives that President Barack Obama never really ever had any executive leadership experience. He'd never run a business, he was never a Governor and about the only leadership experience he ever had was supposedly running a legal newspaper at Harvard, although that is a little bit debatable, as all the details are fairly sketchy.

The other day, I was at Starbucks talking to a group of folks, a couple of them did vote for Obama, but today they will not admit it. As we were sitting on the patio someone drove up and backed into the parking stall and they had an Obama bumper sticker on the back of their car. I mentioned that they were quite brave to admit they had voted for Obama after his less than stellar performance as the president. Then I made a joke that I thought Charlie Sheen would actually make a better president.

If you talk to most teachers and educators they will concur with you that our society is being dummied down by television, and worthless nonsense like social networks on the Internet. However, if you think this is as bad as it will get, and that the Internet cannot make us any dumber as a society, I would beg to differ with you and I would disagree. In fact over the last five years I've noted a real problem in our civilization with intellectual capacity to reason, think, and provide solutions.
