Success is generally an outcome or result of what you are doing or have done in any aspect of your life.
Example: You get up in the morning, you go to work, you do your job well, get paid, SUCCESS. It can also be classified as, you manage to get through your day on the worst of days. SUCCESS. Success can be defined in any context that references to ones life. The outcome of your actions and the result in which it is within is just that, YOURS and not to be defined by someone else's perspective on what should be a success or even how you go about obtaining it. This is not something that should be measured by a statistic or social ladder.
Is success attained by wealth and if so in what context? Are we talking about wealth in the financial sense? That would be someone's original assumption. Money = Success. It is often assumed that in order to be "wealthy" it must be in a monetary sense in order to be favored among your peers to even be considered a success in life. What makes this so important that others feel that this must be proven to another party that they are successful? Approval, status, being liked and so on. The driven sense that you must have something better than your neighbor next door. Is that wrong? Nothing is every wrong nor right.
Truly, success is in the eye of the beholder, it should come from within yourself, having self pride of something that has been accomplished and feel the self empowerment from your successful venture. Regardless of what it is.
Success comes in many forms. Do you want to be able to run your life as you see fit and determine what you need to do in order to gain success? What are your goals to get there? Success seen in the eyes of different people range from; the house in the suburbs and the newest SUV or sportscar, better material things than the next person, getting up and taking care of the kids or getting them to soccer practice on time, managing your day planner and fulfilling your today list, planning meals, getting that pay increase or job promotion. The list can go on as to what someone considers success. Success is yours in anything you accomplish and is derived by your actions alone~Jamie Volner
