According to a report recently conducted by the College Board, the cost of obtaining higher education in the United States has seen large increases over the past year.
The College Board’s study shows that fees for colleges and universities in the United States have seen considerable increases for both in- and out-of-state tuition. The study also shows that private colleges and universities have seen increases as well. The report also shows that the amount of grant and scholarship money available is not increasing at the same rate as educational costs.
Considering the current state of the economy, these changes mean that obtaining a college education in the United States is harder than ever. And with the job market more competitive than ever, this has put the financial and employment status of millions of Americans in jeopardy.
The college Board also reports that 2009 saw the largest graduating high school class in history, meaning that in addition to higher education costs, the amount of competition to be accepted into colleges and universities has increased as well.
This study was released by the College Board on October 20, 2009. The College Board is a non-profit association founded in 1900. The board’s purpose is to connect students to colleges and help them achieve success. The College Board offers several college admission programs and services, such as guidance assessment, financial aid, enrollment services and more.
And as we all know, the key to obtaining a better future, better salary and better status in life is through higher education.
