Doon College of Engineering and Technology is part of the Doon Group of Colleges Society. It is located in Dehradun , Uttarakhand and is co-ordinated under the guidance of Uktech . It is affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University and the journey of education here guided by the 3Es – Exciting , Exhilarating and Enterprising . DIET has been established by the Scholar International Educational Foundation in the year 2008 . The Institute has a well – structured infra including Wi – Fi enabled e – campus and separate hostel for boys and girls.
DIET offers B.Tech programs in Computer Science , Information Technology , Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering .Besides these branches , Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering branches are proposed to start soon . Aspirants should have 50% marks at Intermediate level to apply for DIET B.Tech courses . All the courses offered by DIET are approved by AICTE , Ministry of HRD , Government of India and are affiliated to Uktu .The course structure is designed as per the instructions of uktu .
The Institute provides facilities like fully computerized central library , computer lab with P-IV generation computers , on campus hostel facility for boys and girls including transportation facility to outside students .Students actively participate in various conferences , seminars , workshops and competitions . It organises debates, mock interviews, presentations, group discussions, seminars, case studies, industrial tours, field trips etc. for its students. The institute has enviable infrastructure for games and sports; both outdoor as well as indoor.
