How to manage fax incomings for large companies
By: happydia | 04-07-2008
Hello! I'd be more than happy to solve the following situation:-company with 10 faxes, each having its own phone line-only 2 are monitorised by receptionist of company, the rest being used by the department where the machine phisically exists(it's a fax, copier, scanning, etc device)-theoretically the other 8 faxes should be monitorised by the ones who use them. Still, incidents like important fax sent on one of these 8 faxes and lost for ever occure - at first, I had no idea who gave to fax sender the fax number of the 8 - after investigations - discover that one of my company's employee sent once a fax from these narrow faxes and receiver did not respect fax cover sheet with contact data, replying on same number from which he received fax message. I know that the IT field has softs which collect incoming faxes from "x" fax lines and re-distributes them to the person indicated as beneficiary of fax message. Is it true? Could you recommend me a trial for such soft to convince afterwards my boss to buy it? Thanks a lot!534
