How to Have Success in Any Exam

The human brain functions better than any computer because it is the brain that produces them. This is why there is nothing that the brain if well utilized cannot conquer. Some students feel that some courses are just ''too hard'' to beat but the truth is, every tough course is a challenge you can overcome. If you must achieve this, you must first build your self confidence and ignore negative comments from friends and course mates, sometimes rhetorical lecturer. There was a former lecturer of mine that boasted that nobody scores grade A in her course. I took it as a challenge, became passionate and positively angry and scores straight A in that course. You can use this past experience of mine as a driving force while you make use of these weapons:

PLANNING & PREPARATION: From the on-set of the semester, prepare your study schedule, personal reading time-table (allocates more days and time for ''tough'' courses) and religiously observe them. You may predict the grade you desire to have in each course and paste alongside your time-table. Predicting your grade will help you build commitment to study. If you aim for grade 'A' in a course and you get 'A or B', you have well. Start reading early enough. Create a right study environment and get all necessary materials.

INTERACTION/GROUP DISCUSSION: Attending extra-mural classes for in-depth coaching on such courses as well as revising past questions and questions in your recommended materials will also be of great help. It is more profitable to pay and taught than to cheat and be caught or fail the course.

NOTE-TAKING AND NOTE-MAKING: During your lectures, always take down notes even if you have other materials. A short pen is better than a long memory. Also, while reading, take down points and striking issues. For calculation courses solve some problems on your own.

THE STATE OF YOUR MIND: Avoid reading under tension; make sure nobody distract you in any way. If you are ill, get yourself treated and take care of, if you are hungry, eat well before studying any course.

MAKE RESEARCH ON THE COURSE: Ask questions from the lecturer or your senior colleagues on areas that are complicated. Also find out how the lecturer likes his questions to be approached.

MEMORIZING AND REPETITION: Make sure you spend time to memorize the course regularly, go through your text, note and jot materials repeatedly in order to store them permanently.

VERY IMPORTANTLY: Ensure your heart is at peace with the lecturer and the course. Even if you have genuine reasons for being angry with the lecturer, wait till you have passed the course. Ensure you do your assignments; practical, seminar tests or whatever is used for continuous assessment. While taking the exam, read the instruction carefully, give more attention to compulsory questions to earn more marks and make sure you submit early enough to avoid rush.

LASTLY: Make sure you commit the courses to God in prayers so to earn His favor and blessings.

It's going to be easy enough to do things when they are at your fingertips, but the question still remains how you get them to be at the tip of your finger. I know that you can answer that question but like every other person will want to hear an opinion from the other person before he or she expresses his or her opinion.
