Medtech has announced the transformation of a four school to a ten school institution with campuses now in Indiana, Kentucky, Georgia, Washington D.C., Virginia and Marylan.  With additional locaitons and greater resources, Medtech is positioned to be an even greater leader in providing post-secondary medical career education.

The institutions adopting the Medtech name include the Sanz Schools in the greater Washington, D.C. area, along with the three Javelin Technical Training Center schools.  Additionally, Medtech still has its previous four campuses in Indiana and Kentucky.

The schools were brought under a single ownership within the past year.  Medtech President and CEO John L. Hopkins' mission was to develop an extrarodinary and effective training institution to offer a distinctive educational experience.  To accomplish this, Medtech is implementing new learning and service specifications within the among the campuses while conserving each institution's strengths and unique attributes.

"We've created a totally new company, from our corporate culture and philosophy to the way in which we operate, so we can deliver an extraordinary learning environment, along with personal and memorable services for our students, employers and clinical partners," said Hopkins.  "We selected the Medtech name because it speaks directly to our campuses' healthcare expertise and is indicative of technological investments we are making within the schools to provide the most advanced resources and services to facilitate an extraordinary experience for our students."

As part of Medtech, the Morrow, Tucker and Marietta campuses will still incorporate the same core values and educational upon which they were established.  The affiliation also reinforces the schools' primary focus: training students for extraordinary careers for the in-demand healthcare industry as their top initiative.

According to Ernst, although the name is new, the bond between the students, campuses and communities they serve remains the same.  And, just as Medtech keeps expanding, the resources, know-how and training programs within the three campuses will also grow.

"We are still our respective communities' campus, but now are bolstered by the creation of a strong, new team with a unified healthcare career training purpose and access to even greater resources so we can provide students with extraordinary personal experiences that enable them to create new futures for themselves and their families.  Our already excellent education and training resources just got stronger," Ernst added.
