We all want a job we enjoy, that will not only sustain our families but raise our standard of living. President Obama made an important decision to increase the likely-hood of this happening for YOU! Obama increased the Federal Pell Grant (a grant is not a loan, and does not need to be paid back), for low income students. This simply means that now, instead of getting $4,050, the amount has been increased to $5,100 and may even increase over time! We have no excuse; continuing education is not only affordable but free! In order to apply for the Federal Pell Grant, you need to decide on a college, choose a career path and then fill out a FAFSA form (your college can show you where and how) and submit it. It's that easy! In order to make it even easier, the American Opportunity Tax Credit program allows you to use the first $4,000 as tax free money!
