Outing Details Of Brain International School In Year 2009
April Month
The children of classes Nursery A, B and C and Prep A, B and C were taken to ISKCON TEMPLE located at Punjabi Bagh. The children were given PRASAD and told about the lives of Lord Krishna, Radha and Balram. The students really enjoyed the outing.
The children of classes I A, I B, I C and classes II A, II B and II C went to PARLE-G BISCUIT FACTORY where the process of making biscuits was explained to them. The children and teachers, were given packets of biscuits as a gesture of goodwill. The trip was quite educational and enjoyable.
July Month
The students of classes II A, B and C enjoyed a day out with their respective class teachers to the ‘DOLLS MUSEUM'.The children enjoyed watching more than 1000 different varieties of dolls from India and the world depicting their culture, everyday rituals and customs.
The students of classes Nursery A, B and C and Prep A, B, C were taken to MOTHER DAIRY on 18th July '09. Different fruits and vegetables were shown to the children and each student was given a fruit. The excursion was a knowledgeable experience for the tiny tots as they were able to recognize the names and colors of different fruits and vegetables.
July Month
Children of classes VII-IX were taken to the NATIONAL SCIENCE MUSEUM to view the partial solar eclipse, visible in Delhi at 7'o clock in the morning on 22nd July. The children were thrilled to see the scientific phenomenon with the help of telescopes.
The children of classes VI-IX were taken to an EXHIBITION –‘BUILDING A CULTURE OF PEACE FOR THE CHILDREN OF THE WORLD', which was organized at St. Francis De Sales School, Janak Puri. The General Assembly of the United Nations has designated 2001-10 as the International Decade for a culture of peace and Non-Violence for the children of the world. The exhibits revolved around the following major themes-
(1) Barriers to Peace
(2) Towards a global culture of peace
(3) Pattern of peace
(4) Global awareness
(5) Disarmament
(6) Taking action for peace
(7) Paths to peace
(8) Manifesto 2000
October Month
The students were taken to JAPANESE PARK on 8th OCT'09 ie Thursday for an excursion, where they had a nature walk and enjoyed the ride on a joy train.
Children were taken to ‘RADHA KRISHNA TEMPLE' for an excursion for the theme of the month- Festivals on 14-10-09. The children recited Shlokas and prayed to God.
