Scholarship Money For Moms - No excuses Not To Get a Degree

Posted: Nov 08, 2010 |Comments: 0 |

President Obama's scholarship for moms program is giving many American moms the opportunity to go to college and get their degree. Many moms may not have heard about this program, yet there are many moms who have and are taking advantage of this opportunity today.

Between the Tax Program and the Federal Pell Grant, moms can receive up to $10,000 to apply to college and expenses. Obama intends for thousands of moms to take this great opportunity that is put in front of them. Each year the grant money available keep increasing. Last year the grant was a little over $4,000 and this year it is up to a little over $5,000. Now is the time to be one of the many mothers who grab this opportunity and apply for the grants.

Moms are realizing that it takes a college education just to get the high paying jobs as that of men. There are online colleges, community colleges and universities now available for moms to attend. You can go to one of these schools or you can decide to study from the comfort of your home. The choice is yours.

The first step moms need to take is to complete an application for a grant. You can go online or to your nearby college facility and apply. You will be asked to fill out a FASFA form to determine qualification. It will have to be approved, but if you are a mom on very little income, a mom who is at least 18 years old and lives in the United States, you have a pretty good chance in getting approved.

Typically a payday loan is a short-term loan, with a typical repayment period of 7-31 days for amounts of between $100 to $1500. The costs tend to range from $15 to $30 per $100 borrowed. A borrower writes a check to the lender for the amount of the loan plus interest, which the lender holds until the borrowers next pay day. On the due date the borrower can either allow the check to be deposited or roll the loan over for another pay period by paying another finance charge.
