Step 4: Assess Your Financial Abilities

The same degree programs offered by different universities may cost differently. Most of fees are charged based on credit hours. Generally, top-ranked and good reputation universities may charge more expensive, but it not always true. Other than the tuition fees, you should consider other expenses such as living expenses, traveling costs, and other miscellaneous expenses that you need to spend during the process of getting your degree. If you need financial aids to support your study, then you should consider universities which can offer financial aids such as scholarships or study loans for their students.

2 1/2 years of grieving.. whats next step?
By: mrsprez | 03-08-2008
I lost a loved one 2 1/2 yrs ago. I still am crying, wishing I would have treated him better when alive. I miss him. I'm tired of being like this. Are there things I can do to help myself?

He wants to die young.
By: worriedfriend | 03-08-2008
i've made friends with this very friendly man. as i've got to know him better, i have noticed somethings that do not sound healthy to me such as him wanting to die by the age of 40 max. he doesnt want to get married or have children because he has claimed to have tried it once and things didnt work out. he actually wasnt even really married but just dated this girl for a really really really long time. he doesnt visit the doctor even when he is in severe pain and says that he deserves it. he almost never sleeps and claims that his daily 5 mile run keeps him going... he doesnt really open up. he talks about what has happened, but doesnt express his deep feelings about it. he has been through some great challeneges in life. i feel like there is something he is not over. and im very worried about him. when i try and point out that maybe he needs help or his way of thinking is not normal, he tells me that im wrong because he wouldnt lie to himself or "i love being outside of the norm". it seems as if he is in denial about the whole thing... and also that he is very weak emotionally. he breaks down and takes things very hard. he expresses no hatred or negative feelings towards anyone but god and he claims thats because he would rather god take him away than the people he keeps taking out of this life. it seems as though he is trying to run from the reality of life. i've done research on depression but i havent gotten any real results. i dont know what i could do to help him. i am very worried to a point where im thinking about this situation all the time. i have to find a way to get to him and make him understand. i believe he has been goign through this for a while now, not sure exactly how long. but i know its been over three years for sure. any advice? i am willing to do whatever it takes. and is something even wrong or am i over analyzing the situation? there is a lot more to his behavior than i expressed earlier ... i tried to sum it up to the best of my ability. otherwise he is a very very friendly person. one of those friends that you cant help but cherish. always there. always willing to go out of his way for you. i mean, you couldnt ask for more from a friend. he claims to not have very many close friends and has told me that he considers me one. he is very close with his family and does whatever he could for them. but he says that right now its all about them but later in life "i want to be selfish for once" and that's when he wants to end his life ... i really dont get it...  please give me any advice or feedback you may have.

Overcoming Arachnophobia
By: CapitanaSparrow | 03-08-2008
I am trying to overcome arachnophobia. I have never really cared for spiders, but I have been able to deal with them throughout my youth and young adulthood. However, over the past two years I have noticed that a general disliking has progressed into an irrational fear with physical symptoms whenever I see a picture or actual spider. I begin to sweat, become shaky and itchy. My mind starts to panic and I HAVE to get the spider dead and away from me. Hours later, I will still be uncomfortable in the room where I saw one. This usually occurs if I see a spider in my apartment..where I have had to deal with what I believe to be brown recluse spiders on occasion, I have tried to think rationally, have read a conservation magazine about local spiders with large photos to "educate" myself. I am really needing advice on this other than "read about them and you'll realize they are more scared of you than you are of them." I am scared to do too much research online, because some of the websites with info on how to overcome it have photos of spiders on them- which does not help my frame of mind since I have the aforementioned reaction even to photos. I plan to do mission work in the future, and I know I will need to deal with spiders as part of life. PLEASE someone give me some sort of way to overcome this!

Why loss of sexual desire for my partner
By: icebaby | 03-08-2008
At the begining of my relationship myself and my partner had a good sex life, we fight and argue over mainly his child and family and I feel all he does is belittle me and believes I do not know anything about children nor how negativety from his family affects a relationship. I have lost my desire for him and do not care if we ever have sex again. What do you feel is the problem.

Lack of sex drive killing relationship
By: strwbrrychick | 03-08-2008
My fiance and I have been together for a year and a half, we have lived together over a year. At first we had a lot of sex, but after about a month of living together, I got pregnant and had to have an abortion because of health problems. I did not want to have sex for awhile after the abortion and he had a lot of trouble dealing with that. He kept trying to initiate and I kept turning him down, so he felt rejected. I have lost most of my sex drive since then because I am so scared of getting pregnant again. I recently had to get another abortion because despite us only having sex 1-3 times a month and me being on the pill and us being very careful with condoms, I somehow got pregnant again. now I am absolutely terrified of having sex and our relationship is crumbling because he feels like I don't love him and constantly reject him because we don't have sex very often. I want to try to start having sex more often but I don't know how to get over these feelings of guilt and fear and just not wanting to have sex, and he just feels so rejected by my lack of interest/initiating that he has declared that he does not want to have sex again. I don't know what to do, we are both stuck in vicious cycles and I feel like I have lost him and our connection because of lack of sex.
