What is the Nature of History?

Yes, history is the study of man, because it provides variety in the study of human experience.
It deals with knowledge, when, it is related with people’s improvements. Of course, it can’t spare people’s struggle through the ages.
History studies the past incidents and activities of the humans. No doubt, it acquaints us with the past experiences.
History inspires human for the forthcoming days. According to Lord Acton “If the past has been an obstacle and a burden, knowledge of the past is the safest and surest emancipation.”
History is related with men in time. Time is the root cause of history. It contacts with a series of events. Hence, it occurs at a given point in time.
History is such type of subject matter which reveals no ideal has unchanging eternal value.
History defines the present scenario. The very task of history as a subject is to study evolution.
History is the subject of the birth of human consciousness. Here, we have to talk about both of its individual and collective manner.
Continuity and coherence are the requirements of history. No event is an isolated event in the world. Yes, it arises following the background of last event.
Last but not the least, history is the story of what men and women have done, king and queen have done, or what they have left for others to enjoy and suffer. No doubt, the study of history may not have a direct significance on earning bread and butter, but, it does not have an indirect significance and importance for the young generation.
