A truly remarkable portable plug & play ("PP&P") product range enabling highly secure IP voice & data multi-user communications networks to be established instantaneously at any location.
Bytton provides support for any type of terminal device (connected by wired Ethernet or Wi-Fi) offering immediate broadband access via 3G (or 2G) wireless and/or DSL wireline services to the Internet and via secure built-in VPN facilities to corporate applications. In other words, a secure completely private "hotspot" in a box.
ISDN back-up is also available.
Bytton enables a whole team to become fully operational immediately without any separate LAN Server software or hardware. For voice communications, SIP compliant phones are supported, as are proprietary IP phones (subject to verification with Topex). A separate IP PABX can be added to the local network or provided as a remote hosted service.
The product range includes a public hot spot model for deployment by Service Providers, including full remote management for pre-pay customers.
Innovative private communications applications include the establishment of temporary facilities to support:
audit, compliance and Due Diligence teams, etc.;
bank teller terminals and/or ATMs at exhibitions, shows, as alternate branches (due to refurbishment, for example), etc;
ticketing applications;
retail outlets;
emergency contact centres; and
business continuity applications (e.g. hot stand-by);
etc.
This is a truly portable product that can be used in many applications.
All businesses have situations where there main Lan goes down. Suddenly the support department or sales or a business critical department cannot use the internet. This means the business is losing money, losing opportunity and wasting resources. Having a bytton unit at hand means in less than a few minutes you have a backup wifi lan in place.
Similiarly the unit can be used by the same business in a portable situation such as a conference day or an off site meeting. Simply plug it in and play. It can even be plugged into to a 12v supply in a car or boat.
