About the Author:
Broadband comparison is easier now with multiple features listed and options from all internet providers such a be Broadband.
Be Broadband originated in October 2004. It started out as a private owned Internet Service Provider. As of June 2006 the company was brought by the O2 group which is a large corporation that dominates networks in the UK, Ireland and some parts of Germany and Czech Republic. They serve over 35 million people all over Europe.
The Be Broadband name came about through the company’s vision to offer services that will enhance other’s ability to be the best they can be. They have fast broadband, 24 hour customer service, wireless connections and online account management. There are two fast Internet connections available for home and one for the office.
You have the choice of choosing one of the three packages that suite you. The Be unlimited gives you 24 hour 7 day a week Internet access. You can download, upload, navigate the web and e-mail for a competitive price. Also, the connection speed is as high as 24 meg. Meg is short for megabits per second. The number of megs is what determines the speed of information being transferred from your computer to the web and vice versa.
Your above package gives you 24 hour 7 day a week free phone support help, provided you have a BT landline. Plus you choose either a month to month commitment or a 12 month commitment. The 12 month commitment is offered at a greater discount than the month to month.
If you are looking for unlimited access for a lower price maybe the Be value package will better fit your needs. You will still have the 24 hour 7 day a week access to the internet but will have 8 megs instead of 24 megs, for almost half the price of the Be unlimited package.
Last but not least is the Be Pro package. This package gives you all the benefits of the Be unlimited package plus offers faster uploading speeds and free IP address. If you choose a month to month term for payment you will be responsible for paying the initial start up cost. If you choose the 12 month contract and have to cancel before it is up, all you need to do is send in a written notice to cancel your service 3 months in advance. This will keep you from having to pay cancellation and other fees incurred.
Customers enjoy the prompt service request, friendly staff and 24 hour hotlines offered. If their service is interrupted at no fault of their own, Be broadband will compensate them. Be Value and Be unlimited customer’s service must be out for more than 5 days in a row and more than 24 hours for Be Pro customers. You simply have to notify the company as soon as the problem occurs and you will receive a discount on your future bill for each day your service was disconnected. The site has a forum for its members to post, read and/or respond to other members. They value and appreciate their members and will do whatever is necessary to keep them happy.
