As individuals become more knowledgeable of the Internet and how it works the more they tend to delete your affiliate id or use someone else's id or delete their cookies. No matter what they do the end result is you lose your commission.
Is this fair? No, it isn't but what are you going to do about it! It's not like you can track them down and yell at them. After all they don't care you've been working your butt off finding products and spending your own money to advertise products and write reviews on those products.
The only choice you really have is to figure out a way to hide or cloak your affiliate link so they are none the wiser or don't want to go through the hassle of finding and removing your affiliate link.
I guess they're thinking by removing your affiliate link they will save money on the product they're buying.
Ok, so lets quit crying about it and learn how to cloak our links. Does that stop link deletion or link stealing completely? No, but it helps.
Your choices are to buy a product that cloaks your links and writes the HTML code for you. If that is what you're looking for then I'd recommend you check out the Affiliate Link Cloaker by Jim Edwards. If you're not familiar with HTML and don't want to mess around with creating HTML pages and uploading them to your site then this is a good choice.
Your other choices are to do it yourself. If you want to use a free link cloaker I recommend you visit our Link and Url cloakers found on Affiliate Marketing Advantage. And yes, they are free. I'm a programmer and it was just to easy to write the code that does it. Just follow the instructions on the page to cloak your links. I use them all the time to cloak my own links.
Good luck to you and I hope this little bit of information helps you. Please feel free to bookmark this site to use our Link Cloaker and tell your friends about it too!
