
The Nokia 6111 phone marks Nokia's entry in to the world of slider phones. The phone is a basic communication device. It evinces performance and is unencumbered by complex mobile applications. Nokia 6111 mobile phones support email interfaces such as SMTP, POP3, and IMAP4. These email protocols determine message formats. GPRS or General Packet Radio Service is a technology that expedites web access and email retrieval. EDGE and HSCSD technologies accelerate the action further by conferring tremendous speed to the operations. The phone provides the XHTML browser to help surf the internet. Connectivity comes in the form of Bluetooth, Infrared, and USB.
