The Nokia 6280 is not tagged as a 'smart' phone but the device includes almost all the features you'll find in a 3G smart phone. The slider is smartly designed in silver and black with the later being more widespread. Though the design resembles the Nokia 6270, the 6280 wields more firepower when it coes to features. The dimension of the Nokia 6280 makes it very compact and comfortable to handle and operate.
The phone comes with a 262k colors deliverable large TFT display. The slider smoothly opens to reveal the tactile keypad differentiated by a 'silver lining'. A VGA camera for video calling across WCDMA networks is placed just above the display. Since the Nokia 6280 is based on conventional S40 platform, so the interface is fast and highly responsive unlike the 'smart' phones in S60 platform that usually shows a lag of around one second. The Nokia 6280 is equipped with a superior 2.0 mega pixel camera with digital zoom and integrated LED flash. Freeze and immortalize any moment you like and share with your near and dear ones via email or MMS. The Active Matrix of the display brings out the real hues and tones of your pictures. Video recording at high resolution is supported too.
The handset gives you triband GSM support other than WCDMA networks. With the Nokia 6280 Cheap Mobile Phone, you can achieve download speed of up to 384 kbps through 3G. In its absence, you can resort to a 'slower' speed of about 236.8 kbps through EDGE/GPRS. Look for your preferred content in the web through the xHTML browser and download it directly to the Nokia 6280. Other than 6 Mb of user memory, the phone is shipped with a 64 Mb memory card which is further expandable. The Nokia 6280 has much more than you'd expect which would come as a pleasant surprise to all its user.
