One feels at home if there is mobile phone while traveling, he can talk to his wife, kids and friends as and when he wants and vice versa.

Mobile phones are the boon for human kind and these are created to bring world as closer as possible. Today distance has hardly any meaning, mobile phone have made globe as a village. Whether one is in Australia or New York or in Delhi doesn’t make much difference as connectivity with person to person is concerned. The modern people travel frequently from one end of the earth to another. Any kind of trip like business or pleasure needs quick and easy contact between people to people. Therefore, mobile phone has become an essential and important tool for a person.

Mobile phone inventor might have thought to create it so that it can make people to roam locally, and later they developed it for the nationwide use. Now it is capable to connect modern user throughout world. The compatibility of the mobile phone system is essential while traveling to other country. Although modern devices are compatible throughout the world, still USA models have different frequency and bandwidth. For frequent travelers it is suggested to buy a set, which cater for tri-band frequency to enable the device to catch the reception from any corner of the world.

Before leaving to abroad it is essential to activate roaming connection and it can be achieved by contacting local service provider. For example from New Delhi to USA or Canada a call rate is 1 rupee per minute. Gone the days when rate of ISD were much higher than the STD rate. In addition to service providers are giving much more concession to the frequent travelers.

Latest mobile phones with camera and video facilities are great facility for a holidaymaker. The mobile phone, which has Internet accessing facility, is boon for a businessman and a traveler. One can send pictures, text to his family on compatible mobile phone through multi media sources. A man who travels frequently in long term can enjoy this facility. Really mobile phones have changed the life of a traveler.
