Do you have a desire to make money online? Are you currently promoting more than one affiliate product? If so, you need a website. Let me tell you why!

Having your own website is essential for gaining credibility. Consumers are more likely to purchase from someone who looks established verses an amateur. Just promoting an affiliate link gives the impression that you are only out to make money (amateur), where a website makes you look like you care about your business and your customers (professional). Think about it. Most people are scared of scams and rightly so. They are more careful about what they purchase and what opportunities they join. If you had a choice which one would you purchase from?

Having your own website gives you a way to tie all of your affiliate links together creating one place where all of your streams of income will come from. By promoting your website, you are promoting all of your affiliate programs at the same time. This saves you time, not to mention advertising costs. You will also be able to submit your site to the search engines. There are so many ways to bring traffic to your site that are not available if you just want to promote one link.

Finally, having your own website will allow you to earn extra cash that you wouldn't be able to earn without one. Its called Google Adsense and it's free to put on your site. Ads are placed on your site that are relevant to what you are already promoting. This is called Niche Marketing. With Google Adsense you will earn money for every person who clicks on the ads that are displayed on your site. You have total control to place these ads anywhere on your site that you want. I have seen them placed on the top, bottom, sides and even in the middle of some sites. You can customize them to fit your preference and style. Once you reach $100 you will get paid. Remember, the money may be slow at first, but in the long run when your website is established you could be making $100 every couple of days. There really is no reason not to do this-it's free money!

To recap, having your own website establishes you as a professional, links all your programs together, and gives you yet another source of income. Take this step, and you will see results. Best Wishes for your success!

My computer talks to me and I want it to shut up!
By: loistone | 11-07-2008
I have a MAC and was trying to figure out how to delete a message that never got sent. I asked the help menu how to delete a message and it gave me instructions. Somehow, I got the voiceover turned on and I do not know how to turn it off! It talks to me every time I touch the computer. I can see just fine and do not need this feature. If anyone has a MAC and can tell me how to turn it off I would be most grateful. Also, a black box outline is now on my screen and I can't turn that off either.
