In a previous Modern Warfare 2 guide to the hugely popular new game version Flag Runner we covered some tactics for different approaches. In this article we cover some more approaches to this game variety.
Last time we looked at what to do if you are purely looking to gain XP quickly or if you are trying to carry the team to victory. This time we will look at tactics such as, are you playing for the glory of winning the game single handedly? Are you playing it to improve your Kill Death Ratio?
If you are going to try and be the hero and do it all on your own our Pro’s would suggest setting up classes that are all about speed and close combat. You can have the marathon perk plus the lightweight perk for speed and long sprints, great when you run through there flag and try to sprint down the side of a map. If you are going to adopt this approach then it is a good idea to learn some established ‘safer’ routes on each map to and from enemy flags.
If you are trying to improve your kill death ratio then a more defensive attitude would be needed. If you can move around and defend areas around your own flag you are always going to get people attacking the flag. Brilliant if you can constantly change your defensive position around the flag and learn where people are more likely to come from on each map.

Everyone has different objectives in games which can be frustrating for gamers who always want to win a game but who notice some people are in matches just to improve the KD. Whatever happens remember your playing to enjoy the game, so don’t get too stressed at other players!
