Modern Warfare 2 Rival - Reflex?

Activision have announced that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 will have some competition in an appropriately altered name Reflex, this game will be released on the Nintendo Wii on the same day as MW2; 10th November 2009.

In a recent interview with Daniel Suarez (Executive Producer, Activision), it has been said that this version of the game is a more updated version of its older brother. It has definitely been confirmed that this will not be the sequel that everyone is waiting for.

During the interview he mentions that nothing has been removed from the game, all the classic elements are still within the game and one very interesting point he arises is the fact that host migration will occur during the game if the original host leaves, and then the game will continue. Just like what was depicted in the new multiplayer trailer of the big sequel, right before he throws the throwing knife.

There are in fact a lot of brand new features that have been added to the game to seriously upgrade it. There is now a feature where two players can do the campaign, so basically a co-op campaign will be included. He also mentions that you can customize the way you want to aim, whether you use the Wii Numchuck or the actual Wii remote as the aiming implement.

Of course, nothing new like maps or weapons have been added to the game, only the disadvantages such as the host migration have been fixed everywhere, and customization is apparently now quite a big thing on the appropriately titled Call of Duty 4: Reflex.

It has also been confirmed that this game will be developed by Treyarch of Activision and will hit the shelves on November 10th 2009, the same day as Modern Warfare 2 .
