Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is the sequel to COD 4which was quite an innovative game that will influence many other gaming companies in the future but thank god they changed the scene from WWII!
The big advantage that got this game at its peak selling point was the fact that it was set in the modern era of today. Realistic gun battles and helicopters owning players just topped it all off. The graphics, of course, are brutally intense that makes you feel like you are in the game - hence its substantial amount of awards received!
However, this game has a lot of downers; for instance the host keeps leaving the game! It would help if the pre-game lobby could give us an indication of who the host might be so that person knows that if he leaves the game he will end the game. This happens just too often and it gets incredibly annoying. Let’s hope that the sequel will sort this problem out.
As I’m sure that many people are aware that the assist points on this game are just utterly useless and annoying. Playing online and there is nothing more annoying than some asshole coming out of the blue and stealing your kill which of course then results to you earning 2 points if you are playing a 10-point kill match or 1 point if playing a 5-point kill match. However if you are playing Headquarters on Shipment, it’s often that you may achieve so many assists that it is worth so many kills so we can make an exception for this but its needs to go! Preferably halve the points between the 2 players who hurt the enemy.
Now, juggernaut has been in this game and the one after and it has been requested numerous times that it should be removed for the awesome sequel! No choice but to wait and see for the much anticipated Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 out November 11th 2009.
