WOTLK Warlock Leveling Guide: Proven Leveling Tips For Your Warlock

First, being a warlock you'll effortlessly solo any quest in WOTLK, even 3-man quests. You'll actually stand in melee range of the hard hitting boss and burn him down, using Voidwalker Sacrifice and Drain Life and if things get messy, you can always fear him!

Warlock Leveling Guide: Basic Tips

In order to survive in World of Warcraft, you need to be fast. Accessing your core skills should be quick and effective. Keybind everything! ALT + 1 for your Healthstone, ALT + 2 for your Major/Super/Runic Healing Potion, ALT + 3 for your Voidwalker Sacrifice, ALT + 4 for Death Coil. These are your main survivability methods. If you have instant Howl of Terror (thanks to the two talents in Affliction) bind that to ALT + 5.

If your mouse has a scroll button, Use 'scroll up' for Fear and 'scroll down' for Lifetap. Mouse side buttons could be used for instant Shadow Bolts (Thanks for Nightfall procs) or using a bandage.

To pull multiple mobs use Corruption (put it 2nd or 3rd on your skill bar) then follow with Curse of Agony. As these are your warlock's main DOTS, they should be on the enemies at any moment. Don't forget to refresh them as often as required.

Hint: Don't refresh Curse of Agony in the middle since it does the most damage on the last ticks. Let it run out before putting a new CoA on the target.

Warlock Leveling Guide: How To Deal With Multiple Mobs?

This is the order your warlock should kill packs of 4 or more monsters:

Mob1: Put Corruption and Curse of Agony on him then let your Voidwalker tank.

Mob2 and Mob3: Put the above dots on them two and look for a 4th mob. While these two mobs hack you in melee range use Voidwalker Sacrifice and order your pet to follow you.

When all 4 mobs are in melee range use Rain of Fire (It won't be interrupted since you still have the shield up). In a few seconds all mobs will die and you'll end the fight at 100% HP thanks to Siphon Life talent and Glyph of Siphon Life. When you get the ultimate affliction talent, Haunt, it's even easier.

Using the above technique i managed to solo 8 mobs. Too bad i couldn't find more! ^^

Warlock Leveling Guide: What Glyphs To Get?

At level 15, it's imperative that you acquire Glyph of Life Tap. It gives you 20% of your spirit as spell power and since you Life Tap a lot, why not benefit from it even more?

At 30, you get your second major glyph slot. Glyph of Siphon Life is mandatory here. Combined with the Siphon Life talent, you'll receive 55% of your Corruption damage as healing. Add 3 more mobs to the mix and you'll get healed a lot for every tick.

Leveling your warlock from 1 to 80 will be a breeze thanks to these unfair, if I might add, techniques.
