As the computer part numbers get bigger, the computers are getting smaller. Not very long ago it was a big deal to buy a Pentium-2 PC because they were super fast and they were super expensive. Now you can hardly even find a Pentium-2 PC for sale unless it is used, but if you can find it you won't spend much more than a couple hundred dollars for it - and you won't be happy with it either. Now the thing to have is the Pentium-4 desktop PC.
We are doing more on our desktop PC's than ever before these days and we need a PC that offers speed and reliability, as well as the ability to handle all of the different things we make it do. A Pentium-4 desktop PC can handle everything from office documents to web site design and storage, photos and videos, and even sophisticated graphics like in the newest computer games. In fact, it would seem that the Pentium-4 desktop PC was made for gaming, or the games are made for the Pentium 4 desktop PC.
A Pentium-4 desktop PC isn't the top of the line desktop PC anymore, but it is still sufficient for most everyone's needs, and you can purchase an entire Pentium-4 desktop PC, with monitor, keyboard and mouse for well below $1,000. This was unheard of just five or six years ago! If you get a Pentium-4 desktop PC with enough memory on it, the system will last you for years, or if you fill up the memory you can easily add more to a Pentium-4 desktop PC.
The size of a P-4 desktop PC is no larger than the size of the old P-2 desktop PC. In fact, a P-4 desktop PC will be smaller in size because the internal parts are being made smaller and smaller, so the case that holds them doesn't have to be so large. No longer will you have the need to clear half of your desk off to hold your P-4 desktop PC cabinet, nor will you need to keep the tower on the floor, which is not recommended for any PC anyway.
You don't have to look far to find the perfect desktop PC for all of your computer needs, and you don't have to spend a fortune, either. A Pentium 4 desktop PC is easy to find at your local electronics store, and even easier to find online.
